TapTape Legal
Terms of Use
Effective July 27, 2026
Effective Date and Agreement
TapTape is independently developed and operated by the app provider identified as TapTape's seller on the App Store ("TapTape," "I," or "me"). By downloading, purchasing, or using TapTape, you agree to these Terms, the Apple terms that apply to your Apple Account and services, and TapTape's Privacy Policy, which is available in the app and on the public web. If you cannot legally agree, use TapTape only with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian who can agree for you.
Apple Standard EULA
Your license to use TapTape is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These Terms supplement the Standard EULA with product, subscription, Apple Music, iCloud, and user-content rules; they do not replace it. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA on the app license, the Standard EULA controls.
Personal Use and Restrictions
Subject to the Standard EULA and Apple's Usage Rules, TapTape is licensed for your personal, noncommercial use on supported Apple devices. Except where applicable law or open-source licenses permit it, you may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass feature or subscription limits, defeat security measures, interfere with the app or its services, automate abusive requests, or use TapTape unlawfully or to infringe another person's rights.
Apple Services and Independence
TapTape integrates with Apple Music and MusicKit, iCloud and CloudKit, StoreKit and the App Store, and Apple's system sharing features. These are separate Apple services governed by your agreements with Apple. TapTape is an independent app and is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by Apple. Features may require a compatible device and OS, an Apple Account, network access, permissions, sufficient iCloud storage, and an active Apple Music subscription, and may vary by country, storefront, catalog, or Apple service availability.
Apple Music Content
TapTape helps you organize track metadata into a tape experience and initiate playback through Apple Music. It does not sell or provide Apple Music access, copy Apple Music audio files, or grant you ownership of music, artwork, artist names, trademarks, or other third-party content. Availability and matching are controlled by Apple and rights holders and can change. You must follow Apple's terms and may not download, redistribute, commercially exploit, or share Apple Music content except as Apple and the relevant rights holders permit.
Your Content and Sharing
You retain any rights you have in titles, text, photos, artwork, and other material you provide. You authorize TapTape and the Apple services you enable to process that material only as needed to save, edit, sync, render, and share the features you request. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for material you import or share and for the destination and audience you choose. Deleting content from TapTape does not remove copies already shared elsewhere. Third-party content and trademarks remain the property of their owners.
TapTape Pro
TapTape Pro is offered through monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions for TapTape's own premium creation, organization, and presentation features. Depending on the current offering, benefits may include increased or unlimited tape saving, additional TapTape cassette and label styles, cover templates, and players. TapTape Pro does not sell Apple Music access, iCloud storage, or an iCloud service. TapTape does not restrict its iCloud sync feature to Pro subscribers; actual synchronization depends on the conditions described below. The purchase screen shows the current included features, billing period, price, renewal price, and any introductory offer; that StoreKit information controls at the time of purchase.
Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation
Apple charges your Apple Account after you confirm a purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the period and price shown by Apple unless you cancel before renewal. Introductory offers are available only to eligible users and renew at the standard price shown before purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple; deleting TapTape does not cancel one. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. TapTape includes Restore Purchases for eligible transactions. Refund eligibility and decisions are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law; you can request a refund from Apple.
When Pro Ends
When Pro expires or is canceled, Pro status alone does not disable iCloud sync. Actual synchronization remains subject to Apple Account status, iCloud settings and storage, network access, compatible app and OS versions, and Apple service availability. After the current paid period, the free saved-tape limit and restrictions on selecting Pro-only cassette styles, label styles, cover templates, and players may apply again. Existing tapes are not deleted solely because Pro ended, but you may be unable to save another tape while your library is at or above the free limit. Resubscribing does not guarantee recovery of data you previously deleted or that Apple no longer retains.
iCloud Sync Is Not a Backup
TapTape's iCloud-enabled library depends on Apple Account status, iCloud settings and storage, network access, CloudKit availability, and compatible app and OS versions. Sync can be delayed, unavailable, or subject to conflict resolution. It is a convenience for keeping a TapTape library available across supported devices, not a guaranteed backup or archival service. Keep original photos and any irreplaceable information separately.
Availability, Changes, and Support
I may update, repair, limit, or discontinue parts of TapTape when reasonably needed for security, legal compliance, technical compatibility, or changes to Apple services. I do not promise that any third-party catalog, integration, design option, or operating-system behavior will remain available indefinitely. Changes affecting active subscriptions will be handled in accordance with Apple's requirements and applicable mandatory consumer law. Support requests may be sent to taptape@ikam.pro; Apple's support obligations are only those stated in the Standard EULA and applicable law.
Suspension and Termination
Your right to use TapTape may end as provided by the Standard EULA, including if you fail to comply with its terms. You may stop using TapTape and delete it at any time, but you must separately cancel any active subscription. Terms that by their nature should continue, including ownership, payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, and liability limits, survive termination.
Warranty and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject to the Standard EULA, TapTape is provided as-is and as available. I do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, exact music matching, continuous third-party availability, or preservation or recovery of data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from TapTape or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy, liability, or consumer right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Changes, Contact, and Trademarks
These Terms may be updated prospectively when TapTape, Apple requirements, or applicable law changes. The effective date will be revised. Additional notice will be provided when required by applicable law or when reasonably appropriate. Changes do not retroactively remove rights attached to a completed purchase. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the app and cancel any future renewal. Questions, complaints, or claims may be sent to taptape@ikam.pro. Apple, Apple Music, iCloud, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions.
